PITTSBURGH — A memorial provider for Dwayne Haskins, who was killed this earlier Saturday when he was hit by a dump truck, will be held April 22 in Pittsburgh.
The company will be held at the Allegheny Center Alliance Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a visitation preceding the memorial from 10-11 a.m., Kalabrya Haskins, Dwayne Haskins’ widow, stated in a statement Wednesday.
Haskins, 24, was killed when he was struck by a dump truck on I-595 in South Florida early Saturday early morning.
“I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to each individual loving soul who has supported our loved ones through this arduous time of decline,” Kalabrya Haskins stated in her statement. “The too much to handle ideas and prayers have been fuel for our emotional depletion. … The meaningful touches and effects Dwayne manufactured as partner, son, brother, teammate and pal is a timeless treasure imbrued in our hearts.”
She additional: “My husband was much more than a good football participant. He experienced the smile of a rainbow that touched the variety of so many. He will without end rest and keep on being in our hearts til the finish of time.”

A Heisman Trophy finalist at Ohio Point out and a to start with-spherical draft choose by the Washington Commanders in 2019, Haskins was getting into his second time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was in South Florida to prepare and bond with teammates when he was killed.
Memorial services for Haskins also will be held April 23 at noon at Christ Church in Rockaway Township, New Jersey, and the next working day at Bullis College in Potomac, Maryland.
